2. What data do we process, and why?

2.1. Contact form

• Data: name, email address, phone number (optional), company name (optional), the content of the message.
• Purpose: answering your enquiry, providing quotations, keeping in contact.
• Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), and taking steps prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Retention period: for 1 year after the enquiry is closed; if a contract is concluded, for the period prescribed by the applicable legislation.

2.2. Job applications

• Data: name, email address, phone number (optional), the CV and the data contained in it, the content of the message.
• Purpose: selection for advertised or future positions.
• Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
• Retention period: until the selection process is closed. If the application is unsuccessful, we erase the data within 6 months at the latest, unless you consent to further retention.

2.3. Prevention of abuse

In order to filter out automated (spam) submissions, when a form is sent we store an irreversible hashed fingerprint derived from your IP address for no longer than 24 hours. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

2.4. Server logs

To ensure the secure operation of the website, the hosting provider keeps technical logs (e.g. IP address, time, browser type). Legal basis: legitimate interest. The retention period of the logs depends on the settings of the hosting provider.

3. Cookies

Our website does not use tracking, marketing or analytics cookies. The Google Maps map in the Contact section is loaded only if you explicitly click on it; at that point Google LLC may receive data and place cookies in accordance with its own privacy policy (Google Privacy Policy). Your decision about loading the map is stored in your browser's local storage. The project videos are also loaded only on click, in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com); during playback Google LLC may receive data and store data in your browser.

4. Data processors

• Hosting provider: [NTHosting – company name, registered office, contact details].
• Email service: Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) – Google Workspace.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties and we do not use it for marketing purposes.

5. Data security

The website is available over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Only authorised members of our staff have access to the data submitted through the forms.

6. Your rights as a data subject

You may at any time request information about the processing of your personal data, request its rectification, erasure or the restriction of processing, exercise your right to data portability and your right to object, and you may withdraw your consent at any time. You can send your request to info@baseclass-automation.com; we will reply within one month at the latest.

7. Remedies

You may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH, 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11.; postal address: 1363 Budapest, Pf. 9.; www.naih.hu), and you may also seek judicial remedy before a court.
