Semiautomatic foil welder machine for AirWick products
Development of nine pcs of semiautomatic foil welding system for closing air refresher hermetically.
The project required to design, manufacture and commission 9 pieces of compact foil welding machines for plastic housed indoor air refresher. The machine has a heated lower tool with perforated Teflon insert in the middle. Generated vacuum is responsible for positioning the foils during the welding process and a pneumatic driven upper tool is building up the required pressure. The welding time and temperature is adjustable precisely. The machine is equipped with dual channel safety system including light curtains. Welding time less than 1 sec.
