‘Silverline’ Pharmaceutical Blister printing and camera control system

The project was to design and manufacture a low series blister printing and quality checking production line ordered by Masterprint ltd for pharmaceutical industry. The process starts with an automatic vertical blister feeder, using stepping motors to feed blisters to conveyor. A UV camera makes initial product check and the rejecting station rejects accordingly. The passed products will be printed in process and a high resolution camera checks the quality of the printing. The system was designed to provide a flexible and economic alternative for pharmacy products produced in low quantities. Our task was the mechanical and electrical design, manufacturing and installation.
